My dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Hope and pray that you are passing a blessed Ramadan and fully utilizing the opportunity of this holy month with prayers, fasting, Quran, zikir and charity. Many of you have contributed to the GICC’s new Mosque project last year Ramadan when we were trying to pay the initial payment of CAD$1.5M. Jazak Allah Kheir for that. Now we ask you to help us again either through charity or passing this message to someone you know that is looking for opportunity of Sadaqah Jariyah. By the grace of almighty Allah, we are more than half-way through to our 2nd installment of payment of CAD$3.0M by the end of April. So far we have collected CAD$1.9M of CAD$3.0M required. This is the largest Islamic Project in BC, Canada right now. Let not slip this opportunity go waste for a growing Muslim Community in Guildford, Surrey, BC,. This Muslim Community desperately need a proper Paying facility besides other important services that comes with it. To give you an idea of how much this Muslim Community is growing, let me tell you that we had 6 Eid prayers last year and every Friday there are 3 Jumah prayers. Currently we have a campaign going on with Islamic Relief Canada (IRC), where IRC would match CAD$1.0 for every CAD$2.0 you donate for this cause. Please help whichever way you can in this holy month of Ramadan to be be a part of this great cause which will benefit this Guildford Muslim Community for Generations to come.
