Consulate General of Pakistan Vancouver Observes Kashmir Black Day

The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver observed Kashmir Black Day to mark the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India on October 27, 1947.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities, local dignitaries, and media representatives. Br. Salis Gumman recited verses from the Holy Qur’an and concluded with Duaa.

Forum) highlighted the significance of Kashmir Black Day, shedding light on the historical and humanitarian aspects of the issue.
Consul General of Pakistan, Vancouver, Hon. Shahzad Hussain, addressed the community members and thanked them for their presence at the Consulate. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for self-determination, as pledged under the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
Participants strongly condemned the ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and called upon the international community to play its role in ensuring justice, peace, and the realization of fundamental rights for the Kashmiri people.
