Israeli forces arrest aid flotilla activists, kill 73 in Gaza

At least 73 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli assaults across the enclave since morning, including more than 40 in Gaza City. Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani tells Al Jazeera the Gaza peace plan unveiled by US President Donald Trump meets the key goals set by mediators – stopping the killing and displacement of Palestinians. Trump has given Hamas “three or four days” to respond to his proposal.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 66,148 people and wounded 168,716 since October 2023. Thousands more are believed to be buried under the rubble. A total of 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the October 7, 2023, attacks, and about 200 were taken captive.
