Dr. Adel Guitouni Elected President of the BC Muslim Association
Experienced Leadership as BCMA Nears Its 60th Anniversary (2025–2027 Term)
The British Columbia Muslim Association (BCMA) has announced the election of Dr. Adel Guitouni as its President for the 2025–2027 term. He obtained 73 Votes and the second Raza Mirani recived 40 Votes.
A long-standing and committed member, as well as former Chairperson of the Victoria Branch, Dr. Guitouni brings a wealth of leadership experience, strategic insight, and a strong unifying vision to the province’s largest Sunni Muslim organization at a significant point in its journey. Established on November 17, 1966 (corresponding to 4 Sha’ban 1386 AH), BCMA is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Muslim community across British Columbia for nearly six decades.
