Chicken World Canada had its “Feed the Need ‘’ campaign at 1707 Kingsway Vancouver location in the afternoon on April 24. It coincided with the Month Of Ramadan Which is All about giving back to the community, doing charity and helping needy people whether they are Muslims or Non-Muslims. Alhamdulillah Chicken World’s management and CEO Mr. Adeel Jahangir and his brother Awais Alhamdulillah, on April 29th Jamia Masjid Aulia Allah committee raised more than $50,000 in donations and $75, 000 Qarz-e-Hasna from supportive community members during the Live Barbecue and Iftar fundraising drive. The event was held at the construction site for Jamia Masjid Aulia Allah, located at 12666 100 Ave, Surrey, BC construction site.
The Management would like to thank Br. Asad Gondal (President BCMA), Br. Bilal Cheema, Br. Asif Bajwa, Br. Naveed Waraich & Family, Br. Abdul Rauf (Galaxy Travels), Br. Akhtar (Tanoli Travels), Br. Kamran Gill (Carpet World), Br. Jameel Ahmad, and Br. Awais Sunny. They also extend their thanks to Br. Naseer Pirzada (Miracle Media Group), Ms. Ashiana Khan and Ms. Kuljeet Kaur from Media Waves, Tarik Kiani (Sohni Dharti Pakistan), Intikhab Ahmed (DAP TV) and all other Media for who did live coverage and broadcasted the event. Also,they thank all other community members, dedicated volunteers and committee members for their generous donations and support. Lastly, the Management has immense appreciation for their “Volunteer King” Br. Sajid Hameed who spent all day without any break preparing for the event to make it successful. May Almighty Allah accept everyone’s donation and help towards building the House of Allah (Ameen). Everyone is requested to continue their generous support till the completion of the construction of the Masjid.
At the end Qari Mohammad Amin, Imam and Khateeb of Fiji Islamic Centre made special duaa for Maghfirah for Al Hajj Maulana Abdul Latif Naumani, late Haji Muhammad Ashraf Warraich, and dua for Donors, supporters, volunteer team of this Masjid and for all Muslim Ummah.Jahangir felt so blessed to have the support of so many amazing people with them to make this a successful event. Mr. Adeel congratulated the whole team of Chicken World Canada including our franchisees sister Mahya Vadood and brother Haris for their contribution. All Chicken World Meal boxes were prepared at Kingsway branch and were then taken to Hastings Street in Downtown Vancouver. Many community members
helped them in distribution at the spot, where a lot of Homeless people were served by these boxes and juice. At the end of distribution, Jahangir family thanked many including Sajid Hameed (FOP Canada), Halal Foodies Vancouver, Urdu Journal’s Shahana Gouhar Haqqi, Syed Asif Iqbal, Abdul Rauf Khan, Zahir Mahil, Kamran Hayat, Mohammad Khan, Sawez Khan and those who helped in spreading the word through coverage and broadcast including Naseer Pirzada (from
Miracle Media & Canadian Muslim Media Club) Asim Sarwar and Shajji Ullah. The Miracle congratulates the entire team of Chicken World Canada and makes Duaa for them to keep up the good work to support “Feed the Need” cause at the time of Ramadan and Christmas.
