Eid Festival Celebrated in Tamanawis Secondary School, Surrey

Good to see Yong Muslims students are in action recently they Got permission from schools and arranged Eid celebrations .
Tamanawis Secondary School at 12600 66 Ave, celebrates all events like Devali, Vesakhi and Christmas. But they were not celebrating Eid festival. Some of our community kids Laiba Cheema, Alisha, Ameena took initiative and talked with the school director for the celebration, to which she agreed and gave the letter. They started collecting funds and approached Muslim Businesses for support. With the support of their parents, community and businesses like Pakwan Restaurant and Gulberg Restaurant, they were able to celebrate Eid Festival in the school for the first time. This event was arranged after 2nd day of Eid.
Following their tradition Princess Margret School’s Muslim Kids also collected donation and celebrated Eid festival in the school.
