Grand Milad un Nabi (saw) Celebrated by 5 United Sponsors

     On Oct 8, Muslims of Lower Mainland gathered at Punjab Banquet Hall Surrey.
A great combined Milad Un Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) program was organized to celebrate the Eid Milad Nabi(saw) by first time united by five (5) organizations included 1, Fiji Islamic Society of Canada(FISC) , 2, Fleetwood Islamic Centre,3, Masjid Aulia Allah,4, Bullay Shah Academy & 5. Islamic Relief Canada. All 5 organizations banners were displayed in a very beautiful way at stage and Banquet Hall decorated by all volunteers. Mr. Mohammad Imraz from FISC was the MC of this event. After the recitation of Holy Quran by Fiji centre Imam and Khateeb Qari Muhammad Ameen,the local Naat Khawans recited Naats and Nasheeds from time to time in their beautiful voices included Br, Muzamil Ahmad, Br, Mohammed Ijaz, Qari Ameen, with others. President FISC Mr. Aseem Akhtar welcomed all the distinguished political and community guests and thanked to all 5 organizations Executive bodies and volunteer. He remembered the Al Hajj Molana Abdul Latif Naumani and his services in Fiji Islamic Centre and made Duaa for him. Mr, Haider Khan from Masjid Aulia Allah updated the Masjid Project. Hajji Faizal Kadir from Fleetwood Islamic Centre thanked to unite at one platform. The Fleetwood Islamic Centre members presented a beautiful Nasheed at Daff.
The first guest speaker was from Al Rasheed Masjid Alberta Imam Sadique Pathan, he recited few Naats and delivered a short Biyan in English at Seerat un-Nabi(saw). The other special guest was Muhammad Ayyoob Ashrafi Qadri, He started with the few verses of the Quran and Sunnah. His focus was on true love of Prophet(saw) and teachings of Quran and Sunnah. He narrated the story of Hazrat Adam (a.s) and Hazrat Yosef (A.S) and one old woman as a buyer, while he was sitting in the centre of the city and the buyers were raising his slavery price. He told the importance of Hamad o Sannah from companion Hzt. Hassan Sabth (r.a) up to this time recitation of Qasida’s in Milad programs. Last speaker was the president of Bullay Shah Academy of Canada Peer Afzal Ahmed. First, he appreciated Mr. Aseem Khan who united first time 5 organizations to celebrate Eid Milad un-Nabi (saw) under one umbrella. After recitation of few verses of Quran he delivered a speech on Prophet Mohammad(saw) life history, After the recitation few Naats and Qasseda in Urdu and Punjabi languages, he made Duaa for everyone and special Duaa for all Muslim Ummah.
