86th Pakistan Day Celebrated at Consul General of Pakistan’s Residence in Vancouver

Vancouver, March 23                       The Consulate General of Pakistan in Vancouver hosted a dignified ceremony to mark the 86th Pakistan Day at the official residence of the Consul General.
The invite-only event was attended by members of the Pakistani community, reflecting a strong sense of unity and national pride.
The proceedings began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Abdul Salis, followed by a flag-hoisting ceremony accompanied by the national anthem of Pakistan.
Welcoming the guests, a representative of the Consulate addressed the gathering and read out special messages from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and the Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Vancouver, Shahzad Hussain, highlighted the historical significance of Pakistan Day and shared insights into Pakistan’s journey and recent developments. He also spoke about the Consulate’s ongoing efforts to serve the local community and read the message of the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.
The ceremony concluded with a brunch reception, where guests were served a variety of traditional dishes catered by
Karakoram Restaurant.
