Public speaking skills of the youth with some leadership skills in an Islamic environment.

Alhamdulillah I have started a new program designed to enhance the public speaking skills of the youth with some leadership skills in an Islamic environment.
The first program of eight weeks was conducted in January – February 2023, while the summer program of the Youth Leadership Program ended in September 2023. A graduation ceremony for the participants was held at the Al Iman Islamic Center in Surrey.
The participants presented a final speech on Gratitude ranging from 7-10 minutes, much to the surprise and joy of their parents and families. The evening concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants and then the pot luck dinner.
In sha Allah I am planning to continue this program to enable Muslim youth to acquire communication skills for their personal and professional development. The next program will start in October with 2 schedules: Friday evening from 5-6 pm and then the weekend session from 10-11am.
