Surrey Memorial Hospital is expanding specialty care to bring more services closer to home.
Starting December 8, 2025, two new cardiac catheterization suites will open, giving patients faster access to urgent heart care.
On January 8, 2026, two new interventional radiology suites will begin operating, supporting advanced minimally invasive procedures. This is part of a 97 million dollar investment that strengthens Surrey Memorial Hospital as a regional health care hub and improves access for patients across the community. “These new suites represent an important investment in the health and well-being of Surrey families. By expanding access to specialized care right here at Surrey Memorial, we are reducing barriers for patients and ensuring people can receive timely treatment close to home.”
