On Jan 6th, the BCMA Surrey Jameh Masjid committee organised a Youth forum with RCMP. GRC to discuss youth issues in community, schools and colleges.
Sgt. R. Stanford Surrey RCMP-NCO i/c Diversity and Community Engagement participated and discussed with youth about their schools and community issues, including bullying, gangs, crime and drugs in schools. He explained them how to protect their information and Credit cards. He discussed the importance of parents and teachers meetings. Few parents were also attended this forum and discussed some serious youth, family and community issues with Sgt. Stanford.
Qari Abdul Wahab (Imam and Khateeb Surrey Jameh Masjid) and Qari Ghulam Bhaji (Imam and Khateeb Amir Hamza Musallah) were also participated and shared their views with youth. Mr. Amin Khan , Mr. Inamul Desai and other volunteers arranged this Youth forum from Surrey Masjid committee.
