On Dec 10, The Pakistan Canada Association ( PCA) helped host the launch session for Refugee Girls Worldwide(RGM) in British Columbia in collaboration with sister organizations PCCA Friends Of Pakistan Canada Association, CMMC and PTI Canada at Taste of Lahore Restaurant in Surrey. A number of community leaders and members were present Mr. Shaukat Khan President of PCA given the brief introduction of RGM and the Faisal Yousuf Co-founder, chair of the board, who is the Associate Vice President within TD and Board Member for William Osler Health Systems Foundation. Before Mr. Faisal’s speech, Mr. Malik Arfan thanked the community.
Mr. Faisal Yousuf said that Refugee Girls Worldwide (RGM) given a brief presentation and said our head office at Mississauga ON in Canada. Our mission is to raise awareness for refugee girls around the world to provide quality education, healthcare, protection, safety, and development.
After that Mr. Yousuf introduced Ms. Filiz Ozmisir Founder, CEO
Filiz. Ms. Ozmisir thanked the community and hosts after that she said that she is an active community member, a humanitarian and a master’s graduate and initiated and implemented the project “Helping 3000 Syrian Refugee Children in School in Turkey”
And Completed the Fundraising Campaign for the Hospital in Kohat as a VP for Shahid Afridi Foundation in Canada.
From Syria 3.6 Million people refugees migrated RGW is helping some of them in some part of Turkey of their education and health.
She said that RGW is a Canadian based non-profit organization that strives to meet the unique needs of refugee girls across Canada and around the world. Our goal is to identify, protect and empower displaced girls to help them achieve their full
potential.

Mr Shauka invited Consul General of
Pakistan Dr. Mohammad Tarik. He admired Mr. and Faisal Yousuf and Ms. Filiz Ozmisir efforts at Refugee Girls
Worldwide.
At the end Mr. Faisal Yousuf requested to the community to help generously.
