On Dec 14th, Mr. Salman Nasir, senior host at Radio FM 93.1 and well-known member of Pakistani community lost his battle with cancer. Mr. Nasir started his career from
Radio Quetta Pakistan. He worked in
different media organizations in Pakistan. In BC, he hosted Radio India and Pakistani Tv Show “Sohni Dharti Pakistan”.
More recently, he regularly hosted “Hamara Pakistan” & “Sunahray Geet “ from Monday to Friday 9 to 11PM.
He received many community awards in his life for his contributions to media.
He had a good sense of humor. His eloquent and melodious voice was unique and his delivery of words was precise. He was no doubt an institution for Radio voice learners.
After learning of his passing, a few local
Media community members gathered on Zoom to pay tribute to Mr. Salman Nasir. Everyone reminisced about the time which he spent with all of the media people and his humble and polite demeanor.
All Media persons prayed for his family to bear this loss.
