Surrey RCMP were called to the 8200-block of 150th Street shortly before 3:30 p.m. about the stolen vehicle.
A police vehicle and a car that had been stolen at gunpoint crashed Sunday afternoon near the Surrey-Langley border.
A Langley RCMP officer spotted the stolen vehicle on the move after it was reported stolen from the 8200-block of 150th Street shortly before 3:30 p.m. It crashed with an RCMP vehicle in the 7600-block of 192nd Street.
“The occupants of the stolen vehicle all fled on foot, but with the assistance of police officers as well as a police dog handler, we were able to locate all and take them into custody,” said a Surrey RCMP spokesperson on Monday.
A suspect was treated for a minor dog bite and has since been released, while one Mountie was also taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.
Multiple charges including robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent, flight from police and possession of an unauthorized firearm have been laid against Oromena Urefe, 21, Janiar Hasan, 24 and Dante Masone 21.
