5 Ways to Prepare for Ramadan

With only a few days left until Ramadan, preparations need to be made.
So, here are five ways to prepare for Ramadan.
1. Fast Voluntarily
It is good to use the upcoming time before Ramadan to make up any fasts you’ve missed. The best way to prepare for fasting is to start fasting early to gain control over your actions and stomach.
2. Recite and Reflect on the Quran
By reciting the Quran, you can get closer to Allah and understand your responsibilities. Every time you read the Quran, it will uncover more meaning in it.
3. Follow the Sunnahs and Pray
Extra Prayers
By following our Prophet’s (PBUH) actions, we learn more about him and get closer to Allah
4. Repent and Make Dua’a
We all make mistakes but, we can make Dua’a and repent.
5. Eat Healthy and Moderately
With less time to eat in Ramadan, we really need to pay attention to what we eat. Now is the best time to research the nutritious value of the food we eat. While we fast, the food we eat before we start our fast or to break our fast needs to provide the optimal energy so we can accomplish our daily tasks and increase our worship.
