A large number of protesters including women-children and seniors turned up of
Pakistani’s Community in Vancouver and PTI Vancouver BC Chapter, they stood with Imran Khan in solidarity with the ousted Prime Minister and did not accept the
“ foreign Agenda in Pakistani politics and regime change”.
On April 10, at Holland Park, Surrey, the Pakistan Thareek Insaf (PTI), Canada chairman Mr. Saif Pannun Addressed to the protesters and shared the facts that the majority of Pakistani citizens do not believe that the “no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan is a foreign conspiracy” Other PTI Directors, Community leaders and Media Persons were also addressed and showed the solidarity with former Prime Minister Imran Khan stance. “Imran Khan has been referring to the opposition’s move to bring a no-confidence motion against his government, as a ‘foreign conspiracy’, particularly naming the US in his address on the eve of the vote on the no-confidence motion. Khan claims that a ‘threat letter’ was sent by the US to the Pakistan government, calling for his ouster.”
All age group of protestors waved large party flags, display card with different slogans and vowed support with PTI and Khan. Many protesters said they will not send back remittances until Khan was reinstated as prime minister and if this current imported Government will manipulate the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Overseas Voting rights then they will think on it seriously.
The youth, who make up the backbone of Khan’s supporters, dominated the crowds. Tens of thousands of protesters have rallied across Pakistan while protests also took place in several countries in support of Imran Khan who was ousted in a parliamentary no-trust vote as prime minister even as the political opposition in South Asian country prepared to install Khan’s replacement.
