By Arhum Arslan, Grade 3
Iqra Islamic School hosted an exhibition on May 25 called “ Islam Around the World”. This was the first time Iqra School hosted an in-school exhibition since the pandemic. This exhibition was about countries with Muslims living in them. My grade, Gr.3-2 was doing Philippines. I never knew that in 2022, there are about seven million Muslims in the Philippines. The beneficial thing about this is that students can learn places, such as Russia have Muslims in their country.

I noticed that the higher the grade, the easier the country they worked on.
This is one of many events that made me in awe. Some classes were even displaying cultural clothing and decoration. The amazing thing is that the students worked extremely hard on this event. How do I know? Well because when I went there, I saw the
challenging work of the students.

They made extraordinary projects and put so much effort in these projects.
I will end this with my own words: Even big communities can have small parts of
different cultures living together.
Editor’s note:
The Miracle had the opportunity to tour the classes and see the incredible work of students and staff. Exhibits covered a wide range of countries including, Egypt, Syria, Argentina, Qatar, Yemen, England, Russia, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Khanate of Bukhara, Philippines, Vietnam, Morocco, Japan, Germany, Pakistan, India etc…
Congratulations to everyone for this successful event!
