On June 30, 2025, the Pakistani community held a special gathering at the Pakistan Consulate in Vancouver. The event, hosted by the newly appointed Consul General, Hon. Shahzad Hussain, brought together members of various Pakistani associations for a meaningful introduction and discussion.
Hon. Shahzad Hussain invited the community representatives to connect, learn about ongoing activities, and share their perspectives. The gathering also served as a farewell to the outgoing Acting Consul General, Mr. Ghulam Hussain, in recognition of his service.
During the event, Hon. Shahzad Hussain spoke on key community matters and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage with local leaders and directors of the Canadian Muslim Media Club. He emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and collaboration with the community.
