A roundtable discussion with Rob Fleming, Minister of Transportation &Infrastructure and MLA Bowinn Ma

On March 17, A roundtable discussion held with Rob Fleming, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure and Minister of State Bowinn Ma with a number of MLAs addressed the South Asian media  at Civic Hotel  – Ballroom B, Surrey.
The meeting started with Minister Rob Fleming, describing the progress summary of NDP Provincial Government’s Transportation , Infrastructure and Budget. He said that a number of important investments have been made by the government for the benefit of the people, and the allocations of Money at different projects.
After that, Ms. Shruti Prakash Joshi, Director Community and Media Relations started the Question & Answers sessions.
At the roundtable meeting, MLA Jagrup Brar, MLA Mike Starchuk, MLA Jinny Sims, MLA Garry Begg and MLA Rachna Singh were present at the head table.
The South Asian media took the opportunity to bring forward many issues faced by British Columbians including:
* Pattullo Bridge Project completion time and current high traffic volume on King George Blvd, Gas Prices in BC and the Budget for Seniors is not satisfactory issues brought forward by The Miracle Media.
Many other Media persons raised these issues by Ministers.
* Translink Langley SkyTrain Project
* Health issues and patients load Hospital
* Massey Tunnel Project and its cost matter raised by opposition
* Teachers and workers issues in Public schools/Portable Schools
* Land for Coverdale Hospital
* Land sliding at different BC places
*Sky Train extended Projects update
* Mental Health issues by COVID-19
* Construction of housing and commercial industries.
* Post-secondary Education Student Loans and Fees
* Job Market in BC
* Trucking and Food industry
* Nexus for investors, Builders, and realtors.,
any many others, BC issues were raised.
MLAs answered all raised questions in detail even though not everyone was necessarily satisfied with all answers.
At the end MLA Rachna Singh gave the closing remarks.
