On April 4, Brother Anzar Buksh of Surrey, B.C., presented a key for a 2011 Cadillac Hearse as a charitable donation on behalf of his company, ‘GoodWill Auto Sales Ltd ‘, to the Burial Department of BCMA.
With the growing Muslim population in the Lower Mainland, the BCMA Burial Department conducts an average of more than 22 Janazas per month, catering to three different cemeteries. ‘”The addition of this newer vehicle to our existing fleet of two aged hearses will undoubtedly bring relief to the department”, said Brother Mukhtar Buksh, Burial Department Volunteer Coordinator.
Receiving the key on behalf of the BCMA was President Asad Gondal , VP for Planning and Development Br Arfan Malik and VP for Funeral and Burial services Br Zouhair Kawadry. Brother Anzar immigrated to Vancouver from Fiji Island in 1980 and has operated a used car sales business, Good Will, based in Surrey, since 1990.
He is also the brother of the late Adam Buksh, former BCMA Surrey Jamea Chairperson, who passed away last year.
May Allah reward Br Anzar immensely hereafter and Janat ul Firdous to his
Br Adam Buksh. Ameen nisanbet
