After its establishment last month, the Canadian Muslim Media Club (CMMC) came together on Oct 21st for the first one-of-a-kind live cast during Federal Election 2019 from the new studio of the show “Vancouver with Naveed Waraich” in Surrey.
Live commentators on the election results included Mr. Tarik Kiyani, Mr. Naveed Waraich, Mr, Intikhab Ahmed, Mr Naseer Pirzada and Mr. Rahat Rao. As election results poured onto national television, they discussed each political party’s current position and predicted government. Mr. Haris Hafeez provided live coverage on phone from the campaign headquarters of the Liberal party’s successful candidates in Surrey. The live coverage lasted till the final results of elections were announced. Viewers participated on Facebook with live comments and appreciated the local take of election results.
