Family Comes First

Today, let us understand that we live in one house with our blood relations. Mother, father, brother, sister, wife, husband, children and/or joint families. So these people, we all live together and we call ourselves family. OK. We live year by year, we say family word but have we ever understood it.
Double Standards
If we are dealing with others, we are at our best behaviour, polite, considerate etc but same we take our family members granted, we do not even think that they have done great to help us.
We hardly appreciate their contribution. Or we do not even think of giving same contribution in family.
Awareness
Whether you are men or women, it is important that you prioritize or balance your life with family. Eg if it is some family outing or gathering or enjoyment one should try to balance, taking time off from work, arrange your schedule and be with them as much as possible and vice-versa the members of family also should plan keeping other members in mind. If I am working, very busy still I must try to be available on family gatherings, outings.
It may be not possible some times but it should be possible for most of the times.
I am not appreciated
It is me only who does so much work. I work so hard to earn, I do so much housework still nobody cares. This is very often common feelings. Father feels I work hard to earn money and every body just enjoys it.
He expects extra service, respect and everybody to obey him, mother feels I do all housework and others enjoy. HOLD ON please you decided to be family rather you have a choice to create interview and select some to be your family. So it is first your duty to understand that you are all together in good and bad times.
As elders, parents it is your responsibility to first be a good example and then train your children, instill in your children all proper thoughts, behavior and work hard on it. What a child sees and understands in family while growing up puts a solid impression on his/her mind.
When a child sees, observes his/her parents to take out time and be with them as much as possible, mother doing her duty, father doing his with love and be strict also when needed but with respect believe me they appreciate it, they understand. Let us now give importance to our family members, be aware of each others needs, respect and duties, appreciate and help and enrich us to grow. Stand with each other, face problems
together, grow together.
