First time in BC’s history, the Maghrib Adhan was broadcasted on air through external speakers in Vancouver Jamea Masjid at 8th Ave. Then starting May 18th, first Adhan was made by Br Hafiz Hammadullah Qazi in the parking lot of Jameh Masjid at 72nd Ave in Surrey. This permission was given by the City of Vancouver and City of Surrey due to the Coronavirus situation and only granted for Adhan Maghrib for the rest of Ramadan of this year.
