On August 3, Randeep S. Sarai, Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre, hosted the 9th Annual Community BBQ at Robertson Drive Park — and it was a resounding success. Hundreds of residents came out to enjoy an afternoon filled with live entertainment, fun outdoor activities, and delicious food.
The event brought together a vibrant cross-section of the community, including representatives from local organizations, business owners, youth, seniors, and new residents of Surrey Centre. It served as a meaningful opportunity for neighbours to reconnect, build relationships, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.
“This barbeque gave the community a chance to re-connect. It shows the vibrancy of Surrey Centre and that we are truly a community that stands together,” said MP Randeep Sarai.
