“We have a very special announcement for everyone.
Alhamdulillah, with the help of our community and friends, these were the brothers that secured the roles for the Board of Directors 2021-2023.
It is a well-earned victory for these brothers and we would like to congratulate them from the bottom of our hearts.
Over the years, we have always held true to the core values that we put out, which were not going against our words, building trust and lasting relationships. Our goals have almost all been accomplished, with the help of Allah
Almighty.
To briefly go over a little bit, our main focus to bring upon a change in the Masjid were in three main categories.
1)Equal management opportunities within the Masjid and no extensive control within management.
Management has always tried to keep things transparent by always answering to any objection or general question the public may have. We will continue to do so in our service for the Almighty.
2) Another focus we had was the education for our Madrasa.
We have steadily improved our teaching material and methods. This is evident from the graduation of 5 recent hufaaz from our Madrasa, MashaAllah.
3) The last main focus of
Management was to bring about some sort of attraction for our youth in which they would enjoy coming to the Masjid rather than feeling like a duty.
To tackle this we did many things over the years, such as many a ping pong table and a pool table but our most recent addition is our Basketball arena which has been a huge success. We have seen retention from our youth and we are seeing increased numbers, MashaAllah.
We thank everyone who has placed their trust on us once again. As we always say, we will not let you down. Your trust is our Imannah.
