Peer Afzal condemns the disrespect comments in his Friday Sermon

The despicable comments of the BJP leader about our beloved Holy Prophet PBUH have sparked outrage all over the Muslim world. Bullay Shah Academy added its voice to the ever-growing chorus of condemnation against this outrage. In his Friday sermon, Pir Afzal Ahmed Naqshbandi condemned the despicable comments about our Master and Intercessor Holy Prophet PBUH in the strongest possible terms. He said that the august and noble station of Holy Prophet PBUH, as granted to Him by Allah (SWT) remains unaffected by such pitiful comments. God has elevated Him above all His other creations and made him a mercy for the universes. However, any comments made about Him hurt all His followers deeply. He observed that it has become frequent practice to hear such comments about Islam or our Prophet every few months. Such practice can only serve to increase hatred, divide people and can have disastrous consequences in our multicultural society. He reminded the audience that Holy Prophet PBUH has ordered His ummah to refrain from insulting other religions and taught love and respect for all. Thus, it is disappointing and shameful that some people pass such comments about Islam and our dignitaries. He demanded the Canadian authorities to take notice of these comments and for the Indian government to apologize for them. He also condemned the Indian government’s crackdown over the peaceful protests made by the Muslims in that country and the harsh fascist reprisals suffered by these protestors.
Pir Sahib ended the sermon by leading the congregation in a nasheed in praise of our Master and Intercessor Holy Prophet PBUH.
