On November 20, a protest rally was organized in front of local South Surrey/ Whiterock MP Kerry Lynne’s office to protest and demand a Ceasefire in Gaza and stop killing innocent citizens including, women, and children. The rally was organized by Global Peace Alliance and Whiterock Muslim Association, with protesters raising Palestine flags, and banners written:
“CEASEFIRE NOW”,
“ STOP GENOCIDE”,
“STOP KILLING INNOCENT CIVILIANS”
and Demanding peace.
The MP office was informed a few days earlier that constituents wanted to come and meet with her on Monday, but she refused to meet, and the office closed earlier that day body was there. The protesters stayed there between 3 and 4 pm at the corner of 152 nd street and 20th Ave, the passing drivers honked for the protesters and showed their support.

Some statistics of distraction since October 7, 2023.
Over 14,128 martyrs, including more than 5,840 children and 3,920 women, as a result of the "israeli" aggression on the Gaza Strip [since October 7th].
Over 33,000 injuries, 75% of whom are women and children.
Over 6,800 are missing under the rubble, including over 4,500 children and women.
Over 1,354 massacres were perpetrated by the "israeli" occupation army.
The number of martyrs of medical personnel reached 205. [25] Civil Defense members and 62 journalists were martyred.
266 schools were damaged, 66 of which are out of service. 100 government officers were damaged.
170 mosques were damaged, with 83 mosques destroyed, as well as three
churches.
230,000 housing units were damaged, with 44,000 destroyed completely. This represents 60% of the residential units in the Gaza Strip.
The occupation bombed 26 hospitals, 55 health centers, and [56] ambulances, with dozens out of service due to lack of fuel.
