The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects holds Hijrah Celebration at Douglas College ,NW

The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects held its annual commemorating celebration for the coming of the New Hijri Year 1444 at Douglas College, New Westminster Campus on Sunday, July 31st. This celebration was a fantastic achievement for the AICP in particular, and the Muslim community in the Lower Mainland in general.
The preparation, staging, and coordination of the happy festival took a significant amount of time and effort.
The AICP members and the renowned Islamic Chants Group staged the beautiful event to share their joy with the broad Muslim community that attended and
participated. The celebration began with recitation from the Blessed Qur’an. The diverse audience thoroughly liked and responded positively to the heartfelt chants praising Allah ta^ala and His blessed
Messenger Muhammad sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam. A speech about the Prophet sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam’s Blessed Migration (Hijrah) based on the significant insights and virtues of the event that changed the face and trajectory of history. The audience was motivated by lessons from the Prophet’s true trust in Allah throughout his life and all of his lively concerns. The guests were reminded of the Prophet’s guidance to his companions in terms of togetherness, brotherhood, and attachment to one’s land.
The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (AICP) wishes the Muslim community of the Lower Mainland and all Muslims around the world a prosperous New Year filled with security, peace and protection from injustice.
