It also helps you gain and improve skills specific or general to school and work.
Finally, these opportunities add more to your future post-secondary applications by showcasing your hard work and dedication. Overall, getting a job or volunteering in the summer can provide unique learning experiences, help better your skillset, and boost your post-secondary applications.
Firstly, every job and volunteering opportunity comes with experiences for us to learn from.
When we face an obstacle at our workplace, it’s an opportunity to choose the right path to overcome our problems and learn for
tomorrow.
Even when we choose the wrong path, we have a chance to reevaluate our actions and avoid making those same mistakes in the future.
