On September 19, music lovers enjoyed a beautiful evening of Qawwali at the Bell Performing Arts Centre, Surrey, where renowned Indian qawwal Khan Saab delivered a captivating performance. The event, organized by Zafar Khan Entertainment in collaboration with Ravi Singh Mortgages MS Motors., drew an enthusiastic audience and featured many timeless pieces by the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Mr. Zafar Niazi, a well-known entertainment promoter in British Columbia, once again hosted a highly successful cultural night under his banner.
Following this success, another Khan Saab performance was scheduled for September 26 as a Flood Relief fundraiser in Refection Banquet Hall, Surrey for victims in East and West Punjab.
Sadly, the show was cancelled at the last moment due to the sudden passing of Khan Saab’s mother in India, which required his immediate return home.
