What a wonderful title that glorifies the name of Prophet Abraham (Ebrahim) (AS) that is most pleasing for Muslims, as their religion Islam is known as the religion of Prophet Abraham (AS) who is known as a ‘Friend’ of GOD, for making peace with HIM the Creator of the Universe and left the Idol worship cult of his Father, whom he explained many times that the worshiping the Idols-human gods is a sin, but the father wouldn’t budge as he was deep into it as most Idol worshipers are, who become wealthiest by selling the religious rituals. Though, Prophet Abraham (AS) moved away from his father and as inspired by his Lord, he remained faithful to HIM and later as commanded by Allah-Creator, he with his sacrificial first-born son Prophet Ismail built the ‘Kaba’ the first House of worship of Allah-Supreme Being Creator of the Universe.
‘Kaba’ was glorified again by the final Messenger Muhammad (SAWS) descendant of Prophet Ismail (AS).
“Remember Abraham said: my Lord make this a city of peace and feed its people with fruits such of them as believe in GOD and the last day”. (Quran 2-126). Since 14th.C. Muslims are following his religion Islam and has remained faithful to Allah by following HIS commandments including the 10 commandments given to Prophet Moses (AS) and has kept alive the covenant made with their Creator.
No doubt ‘Abraham Accord’ is a most controversial issue but it is pleasing to know that finally the name Abraham is made worldwide known by connecting it to such famous issue of ‘Abraham Accord’ believed to be the peace making accord as per following:
“This week the United states helped usher in a new era of peace in the Middle East. In a historic ceremony, the Abraham Accords between Israel, the United Arab Emirates UAE, and Bahrain were signed at the White House. The monumental agreements that President Trump facilitated between these nations will bring them peace, diplomatic relations and economic growth. Israel’s enemies called the agreements a stab in the back: these agreement benefit not only Israel and the U.S.A. but the entire Middle East”.
On the other side of the coin, by some it is described as the web of evil, another catastrophic situation mainly against the Palestinians. The word peace is just used to blind the nations, as usual the power play, as it is just about the ‘economic growth’, which is not a bad idea at all. Though, the tragic issue of Palestinians is completely ignored, they are crushed under the surface fake title of ‘peace’. U.S. President Trump and Israeli P.M. Netanyahu has no idea what peace means. Peace with down trodden Palestinian is completely ignored. Their in-humane treatment continues: ‘No justice no peace’.
First step of peace should be with Palestinians, give them back what is taken away from them. Sadly, more is planned for the ‘annexation’ that is like “a final nail in the Coffin”.
Netanyahu says: “There is no change in his plans to annex parts of the occupied West Bank despite a deal with the UAE: West Bank annexation plans still ‘on the table”.
“I am angry because this is history repeating itself”. Said Zeina Mustafa, a 20 yr old student from Ramallah. “The annexation plan is another Nakba (catastrophe) and Naksa (day of setback), she added, referring to the 1948 Palestinian exodus that saw more than 700,000 Palestinian Arabs expelled from their homes–took control of the West Bank from Jordan and Gaza Strip from Egypt”.
It would be so much better if first they make peace with Allah-Creator of the Universe, accept HIM, HIS final Revelation, Messiah Jesus (AS) and the commandments of P. Moses (AS).
33-43-”It is HE who sends blessings on you, as do HIS Angels that HE may bring you out from the depths of darkness into Light: and HE is full of mercy to the believers.
LX-5-”Our Lord Make us not a test and trial for the unbelievers, but forgive us, our Lord, for thou are the exalted in Might, the Wise.
