Al-Ihsan Institute, a leading Islamic educational organization, celebrated its grand reopening on October 20 at its newly renovated facility at 82 132nd Street, Surrey. After being shut down in January due to flooding incidents, months of hard work and dedication by the Al-Ihsan team made it possible for Mufti Taha Masood to proudly announce, “Our doors are officially open!” Al-Ihsan now provides a modern and spacious environment, offering up to 400 seats across two floors, with ample space for both men and women to deepen their Islamic knowledge. The facility will soon be available to rent for personal/community programs.
The ceremony featured presentations on Al-Ihsan’s diverse educational offerings by Mufti Taha Masood. Al-Ihsan offers short-term and long-term Islamic educational programs of all types. Whether one is looking to strengthen their faith, explore advanced Islamic studies, or understand the social and spiritual applications of Islam, Al-Ihsan offers courses that benefit students of all backgrounds and ages.
Mufti Aasim Rashid highlighted Al-Ihsan’s commitment to practical knowledge, emphasizing its vision and the importance of applying Islamic teachings within local communities. As part of the ceremony, Mufti Taha and Mufti Aasim distributed awards to volunteers whose efforts were instrumental in the successful transformation and reopening of the facility.
