To celebrate the first season of the Bengali calendar year and to promote multicultural values of Canada, my wife Rushee and I organized this special event called “ A TOUCH OF BANGLADESH ‘’ that took place in Surrey, BC on June 3, 2023.
Through this kind of traditional cultural and social event my core goal is to broaden our horizon and include other communities in order to create harmony and enrich our multicultural society. Canada is a country of cultural diversity and the only way to maintain this multiculturalism is by social inclusion and integration. Conservative MP from South Surrey-White Rock and the Chief Opposition Whip Honourable kerry-Lynn Findlay, Counselor Linda Anis and Mike Bose of Surrey, several former Conservative candidates from Surrey and Vancouver, members of the Canadian Muslim Media Club, community leaders from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Fiji, Mauritius, China, Korea and Philippines have attended the event. Thanks to our Leader Pierre Poilievre for sending an inspirational message for our event.
Surrey is a place of numerous possibilities and we can achieve great things together. I take pride in being a resident of Guildford, Surrey for the past 25 years and I believe that Surrey Downtown will become the business and commercial hub of the future. We must have a long term vision and a solid plan to guide our city in the right direction and that is why Surrey Central riding is undoubtedly the most vital seat in the greater Surrey area. As a former Member of Parliament of Bangladesh and based on my experience as a former Candidate from Surrey/Newton I am ready to represent Surrey Central in Ottawa under the leadership of our visionary leader Pierre Poilievre, he is working hard to bring communities together to make this land of opportunity and freedom for everyone.
