At least 14 people were killed in Israeli attacks on two residential homes in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, the Wafa news agency reports.
Medical sources have told Al Jazeera that “at least 40” Palestinians were killed in Khan Younis over the day while Israeli bombings are preventing the recovery of “dozens” more bodies. Israel’s military has announced its deadliest single day for troops since the Gaza ground invasion began, with 24 Israeli soldiers killed.
