Water is essential to life. It means food can grow, people are healthy and life can flourish. A person can only survive on average three days without water, and if the water they have is dirty and contaminated, fatal diseases spread quickly and the effects are devastating.

On April 7th, The Islamic Relief Canada organized a fundraising dinner at Aria Banquet Hall Surrey. Program started with the recitation of Holy Quran and after that local young and guest speakers included Br, Fawad, Kalsi, addressed at importance of this Clean water projects.
The Keynote speaker Imad Zaid Shakir, a Muslim American scholar and
co-founder of Zaytuna College in Berkeley, California. who was invited from US for this “ Fundraising event for clean water projects by
Islamic Relief Canada.
Sheikh Imad Zaid delivered a beautiful lecture with reference of Quran and Haidths.
At the end of his dynamic speech he motivated the audience to donate generously for clean water projects and able to raised almost fifty two thousand dollars.
