On August 14, on the occasion of 75th Pakistan Independence Day, many Pakistani Canadians in Lower Mainland got together and organized a Car Rally from Holland Park-Surrey Central to the Strawberry Hills on short notice. The community gathered at Holland Park at 6 pm with flags on their cars with National songs playing. The Caravan of cars started with honks and songs played from King George Blvd to 72nd Ave and then from there to Scott Road. Families, kids, and youth showed their enthusiasm, patriotism with Pakistan. Mr. Tarik Kiyani, Mr. Rahat Rao, and Mr. Sajid Hameed thanked all the participants at the end of the 
Car Rally at the Strawberry Hills parking lot.
