“The following aspects have been considered for the new masjid proposal:”
1. Masjid Al Noor will have new premises of approx. 21,000 sq ft. Plus, Roof top of 7000 sq ft.
2. Capacity to accommodate about 2000 worshippers at any given time.
3. Separate floor for Sisters. Capacity 550, including
separated enclosure for mothers with babies and small kids.
4. Car Park underground
facility of over 100 cars owned and exclusive to Masjid.
5. Masjid will get condos
valued at approximately
8 Million Canadian Dollars.
in the tower at No cost
and No interest.
6. Financially self-sufficient operations.
7. Masjid Al Noor society will own the entire Masjid building and the Board will manage without Strata and separated fully from the Tower.
8. Masjid Al Noor Society will have complete and total control over all the premises of Masjid.
9. Total value of assets of
Masjid will jump to approximately between 27 to 30
Million Dollars.
10. Masjid will not borrow or take any loans from any bank. No Interest Cost for the Masjid.
11. New Masjid building, costing approx 10 Million Dollars. will be built for free and will not have any liability.
None whatsoever.
12. All numbers are approximations and may vary based on the final approvals of the City Planning Division.
