Meraj-Un-Nabi(saw) Celebrates at Masid Anwaar e Madina

The annual meraj-un-nabi jalsa was held at Masjid Anware Madina on the 21st of April.
MC of the program was Saiyad Afroz Saifi and he led the program very nicely and in a timely manner. Afroz sahab emphasized the importance of having a pir , a spiritual leader.
The program started after Asr prayer with the Quran recitation by Hafiz Yusuf sahab , followed by naats with zikr by Saiyad Zeeshaan , Saiyad Farhaan , Ali Ahmed, M ohammad Abbas ,Yaawar Yaqub. Naats was composed very beautifully and was full of spiritualism.
Maulana Imroz Dean Saifi Naqshbandi presented his speech about the Divine ascension of the Holy Prophet , giving examples from Quran and Hadiths, He emphasized the reason for this great journey and the significance of it , and how the gift of namaz was given to the Ummah of Rasoolullag sallalahu alaihi wassallam. His focus was mainly on At-taiyaat o lillahe wa-salawato – wa tayyibaat. He explained it in such a manner that everyone learned and understood
how this ayat became part of our namaz, and the reason of the secret of ‘As-salaat al meraj ul momineen. “
After Maghrib prayer, Saiyad Farhaaz Dean , eldest nephew of Maulana Saiyad Imroz Dean and also a Talib-e-ilm , delivered a speech in English. It was very enlightening and informative, and he quoted many Quranic verses stating the grand ascension of the Holy prophet.
At the end , Hameed Choudhry , of Edmonton, had some great words of wisdom to share with everyone, and he recited a very emotional naat .
Hameed Choudhry also led the salutation on the Holy Prophet as well. Ali Asgar Saifi amde dua .
Delicious dinner with lots of varieties of snacks was served after Isha Prayer .
