On July 27, MLA Amna Shah (Surrey Centre) hosted her first successful Community BBQ at Forsyth Park, Surrey. The event drew hundreds of local residents who came out to enjoy a vibrant afternoon filled with fun outdoor activities, delicious food—including burgers, veggie kebabs, micronized snacks, and soft drinks—and a lucky draw that added excitement to the gathering.
MLA Jessica Sunner MP, Gurbux Saini and former MLA Bruce Ralston were among the special guests who joined Shah in celebrating the spirit of community.
The event welcomed representatives from local organizations, business owners, youth, seniors, and new residents of Surrey Centre.
