Success was celebrated for the Councils 2019-2020 fundraising of the $44,000 collected to-date for the BC Children’s Hospital “ Sunny Hill Enhancement Initiative” TARGET of $50,000!
Six years ago, MBC supported —Surrey Memorial Hospital—as the beneficiary of our inaugural fundraising campaign. Our efforts raised over $54,000 and equipped every one of our hospice care beds in Laurel Place with highly specialized, pressure relieving mattresses. Both literally and figuratively; MBC together with our Donors graciously provided support and comfort to those whose lives are coming to an end at our hospital.
SMHF would be honoured to partner once again with members of the Muslim Business Council in their 2020 fundraising drive to expand, renew and renovate the Children’s Health Centre at Surrey Memorial Hospital. The new Centre will better serve the growing population of babies, children and young people who live within the boundaries of our health authority, which stretches from Burnaby to White Rock to Hope and everywhere in between. SMHF has passed the halfway point of their campaign goal of $6 million, and are asking the Muslim Business Council to take on their most ambitious fundraising drive ever by committing to a $250,000 gift.MBC looks forward to everyone’s support in their endeavours for 2020!
