Al Iman Islamic Centre
Located at#18-13478, 78 Avenue Surrey,
Alhamdulillah, the Al Iman Islamic Centre in Surrey has witnessed remarkable growth over the past 13 years. This Islamic center has become a vital hub for the community, providing a wide array of Islamic teachings, social initiatives, and educational and health and fitness programs. The center has successfully accommodated over 200 individuals during Friday prayers, and Eid prayers, and it warmly welcomes the community for all five daily prayers. Thanks to the dedication of the committee members of diverse ethnic communities including those from the Somali Canadian community as well as others, Al Iman Islamic Centre stands as a beacon of service to the community. What’s most heartening to see is the active involvement of the youth in diverse activities, showcasing the vibrant spirit within the center. The multipurpose hall serves as a venue for youth gym sessions and a variety of other engaging activities.
Centre Services
Islamic Online University (IOU)
We are a registered organization with the Islamic Online University.
We provide IOU students with the necessary facilities to take their exams.
2. Family Counselling
We provide counseling and mediation
sessions. We also provide services to oversee Divorce proceedings between spouses and issue Divorce certificates.
3. Social Services
Al Iman strives to contribute to the local community by assisting local refugees to connect with government and municipal service providers. We also provide financial assistance to brothers and sisters who are in need.
4. Marital Services
We help Muslims to get married, perform marriage ceremonies and provide official marriage certificates.
5. Zakaah & Sadaqah
Zakaah is collected here in Ramadan and throughout the year and distributed in strict accordance with the Qur’anic verse:
Surah At-Towbah (9:60).
6. Event Hosting
The center may be available to host Islamic events.
