The appeal of John Nuttall and Amanda Korody’s acquittal of terrorism charges by the BC Supreme Court starts on January 15 in the BC Court of Appeal. The appeal will run from January 15 to 17, with the decision to overturn the decision to dismiss the terrorism charges can come as early as January 17.
The couple who newly converted to Islam, was acquitted of terrorism charges by the BC Supreme Court in June 2016, after declaring that they were victims of entrapment by the RCMP. The ruling by B.C. Supreme Court Justice Catherine Bruce that the pair was no threat to public safety. “The world has enough terrorists, we do not need the police to create more,” Bruce said. They were a part of an RCMP sting operation to entrap them in an attempt to blow up the BC legislature. It clear that they were targeted because they are Muslim.
“There was no imminent risk of harm to the public or the need to disrupt ongoing criminal activity,” Bruce said. “The police were acutely aware that without the constant supervision and direction provided by (the undercover officer), the defendants would be incapable of completing their part in the plan.”
A recent federally commissioned report recommends that the Trudeau government create a new body to review the activities of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canada Border Services Agency. The report, prepared for Public Safety Canada, says the body would fill a gap by independently scrutinizing public complaints about the pubic officers’ behavior.
The new watchdog, the Canada Law Enforcement Review Commission, would also be able to initiate its own studies of trends and systemic problems. The proposed body would review both the CBSA and the RCMP, replacing the existing complaints commission for the Mounties, given the frequent overlap between the two enforcement agencies.
In the mean-time. Crown Council is proceeding with appeal against John Nuttall and Amanda Korody. A petition has been started to stop the appeal.

It seems our cousins Jewish brethren of B’nai Brith are really annoyed by the comments made by a Muslim Br. Tarek Ramadan. We can just say sorry to them to ease their anger, and give them the facts that nothing malice was intended by expressing very common majority opinions repeated by Br. Tarek, who is a human rights activist and has a sound mind with normal human heart.
Whatever spoken by him must be spoken in a spur of a moment and with pain after seeing so much sufferings of Palestinians that makes our Blood boiling. We all have normal human hearts and seeing the Children killed in front of their parents and some locked up behind Bars that is more than enough to loose control of our minds.
Same comments are made by the non-Muslims most disturbed by the illegal occupation and inhumane treatment of Palestinians, blaming the Zionists whoare considered as dangerous as ISIS-fake Muslims most hated by the world First time I heard the name ‘Zionist’ through the Media and documentary, and ID of Bani Israel-12 tribes of Prophet Israel-Jacob (AS) well explained by Rev. Though, Rabbi David explained well and gave his honest opinion in the Newspaper Al Ameen. He is well known to Muslim community and considered as their own, who does attend some of the Demos organized by Palestinians.
Some young wonderful Jewish H. R. Activists I know since I converted to Islam, and admire their joint work with Muslims, proving we have a lot in common besides being righteous Samaritans, belief in equality, Justice, sharing Scriptural religions, Allah, Prophet Moses (AS) and our ID of ‘people of the Book’.
A good quality of a human is to show courage to stand up against the human rights violators, who discriminates against other humans, grabbing their homes turning them into homeless etc. The law of the land doesn’t even allow the ‘Squatters’ to occupy the empty buildings as it is considered a crime.
We all have a right to freely express our opinions based on reality and not out of hatred like President Donald’s abusive words: ‘Islamic Terrorists’ or the Cartoonist abusing the Universal Messenger Muhammad (SAWS), or atrocities against the Palestinians or ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims whose children too are burnt alive and killed. Yet, such evil criminals are not charged and walking free with the license to kill.
However, if Trump’s colluding with Russia is illegal then his colluding with P.M. Netanyahu is illegal and a crime.
Muslims must not worry about the wild decision of unauthorized Trump who is not GOD but known anti-Immigrant, dictator, Apollyon and a partner in crime of P. M. Netanyahu anti-Christ, ignorant of the facts that by such declaration they have insulted our Messiah Jesus (AS). Who when returns, entering through the Golden Gate, to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray.
This time no one can even lay a finger on him or try to crucify him because millions of Muslims- still Bani Israeli will be protecting him. InshaaAllah.
