We went from clay pots to steel and plastic and now back to natural methods out of fear of cancer and other diseases
*Relying on our thumb impression to sign the most important contracts of our life to pens signing on papers and now coming back to thumb scanning on our smart devices
*From wearing clean torn clothes out of necessity to stylish fashionable clothes then again in the name of fashion wear ripped street wear
*To study a lot because one doesn’t want simple village life like our ancestors and now from higher studies do organic farming to get in touch with the earth
*From natural food to canned and packaged food back again natural food
*From simple things to branded things to reverting back to vintage wear
*First inhibiting children playing in dirty soil in the garden in fear of an infection to eventually forcing them to play in the dirt when they are always on their mobile
So we are in an invisible circle of life that keeps drawing us to our roots. We are so susceptible to our surroundings that we try our best and beyond to fit in and follow the crown no matter the cost to our physical, spiritual, and mental health. This herd mentality is now costing us as a society with illnesses and unhealthy lifestyles that hace devastating side effects. From chemicals in our cosmetics, processed food, or exposure to pollution with all our modern-world amenities, our surroundings have bread us into a unhappy society that does not feel content no matter the comforts we are presented with. We are ditching this lifestyle and following suggestions in social media, Celeb culture, or Youtube of eating organic food, working out, or even opting for a minimalists lifestyle. This is how life was meant to be.
It is a reoccurring topic with the older generations with the younger ones of the ‘good old days’ where life was simple and no one was as unhappy as the youth today are with the world on their fingertips. It is a conversation that is passed on before the beginning of time; we had it harder with less and we turned out fine. Most of these generations forgo the sexism, war, poverty, and lack of progression in the same conversation. However, there are a few things that they are also right about such as giving your body and mind what it needs and not what it wants.
Consciousness
All of us have a little voice in our mind, a constant dialogue that is seemingly connected to our gut and gives us a heads-up when things don’t sit right. We have to follow that thought and feeling and cater to it when it tells us something feels good. This might mean relying less on the media to tell you between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ in any matter and doing our own research and do what works best for us. Go back to nature and see how that feels over time. We can get multiple degrees but still be uneducated when it comes to what is best for us as seen in the rise of diabetes, heart disease, cancer and more in everybody from children to professionals.
Life Lessons
All that life knows teaches us in the form of experience. This can be through our own journey or learning from the mistakes of others surrounding us. If looked upon positively, it helps us lead our lives better and open to more adventure. If seen negatively, it will simply cater to our feelings of misery.

JUST CHILL

By Asma Shums :
One devotee was calling God constantly.
“Oh God, it’s very cold”
“Oh, God, it’s very hot”
“Oh God, there are no rains this year”
“Oh God, it won’t stop raining”
God replied to the devotee, “My dear, you have lots of problems and don’t seem to like the world I like
created, why don’t you come back up?”
The devotee hung up the phone.
