Darul Quran Academy of Canada held its Graduation Ceremony of Hifz ul Quran

Alhamdulillah, on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, Darul Quran Academy of Canada held its annual Quran Graduation Ceremony. Hafiz Ayyub Amin Ibrahim, Hafiz Zubair Abid, Hafiz Ahmed Habib Khan, and Hafiza Aisha Kaneko all completed their memorization of the entire Quran. They are the 57th, 58th, 59th and 60th graduates to complete their memorization of the Quran since the school has opened. The graduation ceremony was held at Crystal at York Banquet Hall. Master of ceremonies for the program were Hafiz Abu Bakr Khan and Hafiz Farhaan Ali, both graduates of Darul Quran Academy. Program began with a recitation of the Quran by a young student of Darul Quran Academy named Musta’an Aleemi. Hafiz Imraan Ali recited a nasheed pertaining to the completion of Quran memorization. A speech was conducted in the urdu language by visiting scholar, Mufti Imraan Farooq from Edmonton, Alberta. Thereafter, the final sabaq was recited by each graduating student, followed up with the Dastarbandi and certificates presentation. Madrasah report and future were shared by Hafiz Farhaan Ali. Fundraising was conducted by visiting scholar, Molana Syed Abdul Mannan Nadvi of Waterloo, Ontario. Final dua was conducted by Mufti Imraan Farooq. All together, $51,000 was fundraised alhamdulillah. Over 750 people attended the gathering. Br. Safdar Hussain Qureishi from Edmonton was also present. Many other local scholars were present as well such as: Qari Abdul Wahab, Shaykh Adnan of Seattle, Qari Ghulam Baji, Molana Yusuf Jakda, Qari Abdullah Mazhar, Molana Saadat Nadvi, Mufti Shujaat Ali, Molana Anees, Molana Owais Wahab, Shaykh Salahuddin Zubair.
