Thieves Broke into the Newly Opened Mosque in Maple Ridge, and Vandalized the Mosque

(Maple Ridge, British Columbia) Jamia Riyadhul Jannah British Columbia Mosque at 27079 River Road, Maple Ridge was opened on January 13, 2019. The Muslim Community in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Mission purchased the Whonnock United Church and started using this historic church as a mosque.Last week someone broke into the mosque and stole the sound system, heaters, carpets and other items and vandalized the mosque. The windows and doors were broken. The incident has been reported to the RCMP.
