On August 19 &20, the Pipe Shop in North Vancouver was filled with Pakistani businesses that had been invited by the Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association for a trade Expo. This successful event was led by Bushra Rehman with the support of her colleague Rabia Dastgir and many others. The Expo was a very colorful display of Pakistani products, which showed the talents and skills of the Pakistani nation. The first day of the Expo was inaugurated by HE. Zaheer Janjua, High Commission of Pakistan visited each stall and discussed Pakistani Products in detail with the vendors. He was accompanied by the Consul General of Pakistan, Janbaz Khan. This Expo promoted cultural connections and business opportunities for Pakistan in Canada and provided trade opportunities between both countries.
Miracle Media had the opportunity to cover the inaugural day live on Facebook and also interview exhibitors about their products and the efforts and hurdles to come to Vancouver. There were challenges with Visas and unexpected delays in the shipment of products. However, the exhibitors, attendees, and organizers made the best of the situation and made this expo a grand success. We would like to congratulate the Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association and especially Ms. Bushra Rehman and the Pakistan Consulate Office Vancouver for a successful event.
