Having freedom of expression is a good thing, but instead of criticizing in a positive way, social media has seen an increase in insulting each other. Trends are run against the opponents, through which language, provincialism and sectarianism also increase. Man is the best of creation and Allah Almighty has given man the great gift of intellect and consciousness to distinguish between right and wrong.
Now it is up to us how we use it.
Many people including people of all ages are sharing their every moment activities and pictures on social media as if their purpose is just to stay on social media. What restaurant you went to, what you ate, what you drank, everything is available on social media and then the likes and dislikes are also being counted. The same time can also be used for constructive purposes. For example, tips for constructive work should be given.
Yes, social media has facilitated the progress of human beings, while society is going towards destruction due to the negative thinking and misuse of social media. And the reason for this is the human being himself.
The reason for the increase in sexual crimes is social. Obscene content in media, movies, obscene literature, and misuse of mobile phones.

We must plan about the misuse of social media, and we have to deal with the evils, if this means is not used properly and wisely, then the society will be destroyed morally and mentally.
