Riwayat and Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association bring Pakistani fashion to BC

On May 10, The Pakistan Western Canada Trade Association (PWCTA) teamed up with Riwayat to host a Fashion show in BC. The show was held at Sheraton Guildford and celebrated Pakistani culture through fashion, mixing old and new styles. 10 different Asian designers showcased their collections at the event. The fashion show was followed by a trunk show the next day giving everyone the opportunity to peruse collections from 25 different designers. Bushra Rahman, President of PWCTA commended Riwayat’s team and her own team for putting together the event. Through events like these, PWCTA aims to showcase the significance of the Pakistani textile industry and the intricate craftsmanship of Pakistani fashion designers, emphasizing their role in Pakistan’s trade economics and cultural identity worldwide.
