The Aalim Course Students Awarded at Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation.

On August 12, was another important milestone in the history of Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation. For the second time, a group of students commenced their Dawra of Hadith, the last year if the Aalimiyya program, also known as the Aalim Course. This group of students consists of 3 boys and 6 girls, an accomplishment which, besides Ontario, has never been completed anywhere in Canada.
The program began when Mufti Aasim Rashid, founder and president of Al-Ihsan welcomed all the guests and gave them an overview of the program. This was followed by an inspiring talk by special guest Mufti Saiyed Muslihudeen Sahab (hafizahullah) (Shaykh al-Hadith Darul Uloom Dewsbury), who spoke regarding about the virtue and importance of the knowledge of hadith.
Mufti Aasim Sahab then addressed the congregation, and spoke regarding important ongoing issues in the Muslim world, and how they should be tackled.
The hounourable guest, Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala (hafizahullah) (Founder and Shaykh al-Hadith Darul Uloom Bury) then conducted the main program of the event. The reverred Shaykh commenced the Sihah al-Sitta by reading the first hadith of each book. The Sihah al-Sitta consist of Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Sunan Abi Dawood, Sunan Ibn Majah, and Sunan al-Nasai). He then addressed the crowd and conveyed some very valuable pieces of advice and wisdom.
The program was concluded with a heart-melting dua by Shaykh Mufti Muslihudeen Sahab, and a delicious lunch.
May Allah accept all the efforts of the students and teachers and volunteers that went into organizing this program and making it a success. InshAllah, these 9 students will graduate from as certified scholars late 2019, and will serve as beacons of light for our communities.
