Statement from Teresa Wat
BC Liberal Critic for Multiculturalism and Richmond North Centre MLA Teresa Wat released the following statement on Canadian Multiculturalism Day:
“Today we celebrate the cultural diversity that enriches every one of us, and recognize the remarkable contributions made by multicultural communities to our society.
“We are fortunate to live in British Columbia, the most ethnically diverse province in Canada that has attracted newcomers from around the world. Our strength therefore lies in tolerance, acceptance and cooperation between the many people that call this province home. “In addition to preserving and enhancing the multicultural heritage of B.C., we must continue to guard against intolerance and hatred on the basis of race or place of origin. Discrimination demeans us all and has no place in our society.
“I encourage everyone to take today’s opportunity to build cultural awareness in your own home, workplace and community. We all have a responsibility for social diversity and inclusion.
“Let’s ensure everyone is treated with respect and dignity and strive to create opportunity for all of B.C.”
Money makes the world go round’!
By: Gulshan Alani
Who doesn’t dream of being a Millionaire? It is true Money makes the world go round. Money, moves you around and allows you to do anything you desire, good or evil.
Money has more power than the people’s brains. A wealthy man/woman can easily convince and tempt us to aceept all kinds of right and wrong things. In other words money has mesmerizing effect. Though, extreme love for money makes the person more greedier who doesn’t hesitate to obtain it with frauds.
No doubt Money is most lovable and likeable by all the humans. It is a common opinion that you can live witout love but not without money.
No, not really, what is the use of life without love?
The kind of love reflects in our love for family, friends, and honest people around us believers or non-Believers. Love and care makes us the Global Citizen.
Love consists of care, concern, righteousness, truthfulness, respect, honesty, humanity, justice, loves clean healthy Environment, and faithfulness to Almighty Allah our Lord-Creator of the Universe.
Evidently, the truth is that Money and love both are most needed to survive, both goes hand in hand, as both has higher values for the normal mankind who is fearful of Divine authority.
Love and wealth both should be earned and used with ethics and moral values.
According to the Divine Sharia law, Money should be clean, earned with honesty following the rules of Halal/legal and Haram/forbidden, and not collected by force, false claims, business, family feud out of revenge, or obtained by perjury, frauds, lies, deceits, money laundry, blackmailing, or the worst false claim of human god that he can forgive sins every month by the cash payment, and giving false promise of Heaven by selling tickets costing thousands.
Such money is called ‘Dirty Money’.
Though, greed of money blocks the thinking of righteousness and brings the blindness to the unethical actions that pollutes the mind, body and soul.
Turning a blind eye to the pollution of earth and Water by the Oil Pipeline, Ignoring the Environment and its safety to gain ‘Money’, in the name of ‘increase employment’, is un-ethical belief.
Blackmailing with sanctions that hurts the innocent civilians, and Children, locking up Children in a cage at the detention Ctr. it is clear Child abuse and criminal act, and violation of the Divine order-a great sin. These children needs their Mothers to love them and not just Tooth Brush.
